We use pressure-treated softwood as standard, and hardwood such as Ipe or Balau where clients want a premium finish. All timber is from reputable sources and treated for outdoor use.
Do you build pergolas and garden structures?
Yes. Pergolas, arbours, raised planters and bespoke timber framing are part of our carpentry offering. We've built large pergola structures for commercial and residential clients.
How is decking fixed to avoid movement and rot?
We use stainless steel fixings throughout and ensure the subframe has correct ventilation. Posts are concreted into the ground or set on post bases to keep timber off the damp soil. Drainage is considered so water doesn't pool under the deck.
Can you build raised planters as part of a garden build?
Yes. Raised planters and flower beds in timber, sleeper or brick are a regular part of the renovation projects we deliver.
